What happens to my personal belongings after the vehicle is repossessed?

Your personal belongings are inventoried and securely stored for 30, 45 or 60 days. Then the property is separated and donated to various charities in the metroplex based on needs.

Are there any fees to get my personal belongings back?

There can be, every lienholder has different procedures and fees pertaining to personal property. Because there is a cost to us, there are fees. These fees, in some cases, are billed directly to the lienholder, but in other cases, the lienholder wants us to collect the fees from the owner of the property.

How do I redeem my car after I have paid the lienholder the amount due?

Once the release documentation has been received from the lienholder, which can take up to two full business days, you’ll be contacted by the HNS Recovery team to schedule a time to redeem your vehicle.

Where is the vehicle taken after being repossessed?

The vehicle is taken to one of our secure storage facilities and held until further notice from the lien holder. Please contact your lien holder with questions related to your vehicle.
